Daddy's Lucky Girl
We took Ella to the pet store and she was waving at the puppies
Even though it was freezing out Ella was determined to go for a ride in her wagon
Ella wearing my boots
Dragging her huge bear around
My family came to visit us
They brought Ella an adorable stuffed animal backpack
You can tell Ella was super excited they came (:
Projects
I have been in the organizing mood with Spring coming (hopefully) and decided to work on my pantry. I found these glass jars at Wal-mart and found some fun vinyl chalk labels at groupdealz.com for a package of 4 for a few dollars. It's fun to be able to fill them with whatever and erase them over and over again.
I am going to be doing a plate wall soon, but for now I have this cute plate hanger from my sister that I love. I have been going to second hand stores looking for all different kinds of plates, so once I get enough I will be putting them up on a wall.
Now this project has taken soooo long and I'm still not done because I want to do a bunch more in different colors and sizes to look like the picture below
You can find the tutorial at the thehouseofsmiths.com
Before
So I have been wanting to do a chalkboard for a while now, but this was so cheap at Real Deals I just decided to repaint it since I really am liking the blue color right now, but the lime green worked great for St. Patricks day.
After
Ella's toy room is still a work in progress, but it's getting better since I have found a few things to organize all the toys. I wanted to show this cute decoration though that my sister made.
I have seen pictures of these cute flag banners on Pottery Barn and think my sister told me she just cut out cardstock and had sewn a strip of ribbon onto each piece. I think they are so cute for a baby room or toy room. You can also put the child's name on the paper with vinyl lettering or use clothespins and hang all their drawings up on it.
This was something I have been wanting to do for some time now. This is a picture of my Grandpa and Grandma. My Grandpa was training to be a fighter pilot in World War II and was going to be leaving.
My parents had this picture at their home and I went and scanned it onto a cd so I could have a copy of my own to add to my frame wall. I just love it!!
Before
My mom had this cute little rocking chair that was a grey-blue color and I decided to spray paint it hot pink. (I always get so excited to start on a project that I forget to take a before picture so this was the only space I had not painted yet when I finally remembered)
After
A few Easter decorations- I am so ready for Spring to be here
The reversible vinyl subway art I made with my neighborhood friends. The other side looks like this-

I have always loved my bubblegum machine that I got from my parents when I was younger. It has gotten pretty scratched up from moving a lot and I saw my cousin who had one too and she had repainted her gumball machine so thanks Heather for the great idea. It took a little while taping off certain areas but I love the color since it will look great in Ella's pink room.
After
This picture is pretty bright so it is harder to tell but I did the top a glossy light pink and the stand a glossy white. I spray painted it with the brand Rustoleum. My cousin put decorative balls inside instead of candy which I think is a great idea since Ella would want the candy every second of the day if I put any in there.
Few more pictures of my favorite little girl
She wanted me to put shoes on her puppy
Logan had to go on a business trip to California and his company took them to Disneyland so he brought Ella home a stuffed animal. She loved it!

Three kids has definitely slowed me down, but I love a good project! I would love that file of G & G Rigby if you still have that...my guest bedroom has ancestor photos and i've never seen that pic!
