Making a snowman with dad for the first time after the huge snow storm
Thanksgiving at the Kinghorn's
We made a trip to Utah to visit my sister and brother-in-law a few weeks ago and I went to Tai Pan for the first time- I know what your thinking- that's crazy that I've never been before. I guess we just never think to stop there when we go down and we don't travel as much with the little one. I loved it though and I will be going back very soon. Here are a few items I found when they were having their Fall 40% off sale.
I have been really into making crafts lately. Maybe it's because of all the craft fairs going on. This was the pumpkin we did for our Stake activity and it seriously only took a few minutes to do. This idea came from a website called http://www.makeit-loveit.com/. You'll just want to type in pumpkin in her search on the website.
Ella loves wearing necklaces (:
We went and visited Angie and Austin to see their adorable 1week old baby and their other little girl Lilli
Buddies
I found this craft idea from Hollie at http://www.vintagefarmfurniture.blogspot.com/. It is called the coffee filters tree. It only cost 2 dollars to make. Hollie is doing a craft everyday until Christmas and they are all so cute and inexpensive. You'll have to check it out.
I found this antique frame at a place called Flea Bay. It was gold so I spray painted it an antique white and put up this cute glitter feather wreath I found at JoAnn's that was 60% off. Then I took an ornament I had on our tree and hung it in the middle.
I got this idea from my friend Angie. She had found this huge flower at Wal-Mart and glued it to some ribbon for the hair bows to clip to. I see these all over at boutiques and they cost a ton. I think I made this for under 2 dollars- mostly because I couldn't pass up the huge flower.
Another fun craft
I found this antique frame at the D.I. for 7 dollars and it was an ugly color so I just spray painted it-took out the picture inside, as well as the glass and then I glued on some ribbon. Now I have another place for Ella's bows as well as a cute wall decoration in her room.
Some of you that probably follow Hollie's blog may have seen this for sale on one of her posts. I thought it was cute and something different for a change. It was only 10 dollars and I ended up hanging our stockings underneath. She is so creative- I thought it was interesting how she said this was part of an old table and she turned it into a wall decoration.
I love our new neighborhood. We have a craft day each month and get to make fun items like this cute board. The lady sends out an e-mail of all the crafts we can do and we order them, meet up at her house, eat yummy food and do our crafts from 4 until late.
Crafts I ordered since I'm not this good
A lady in my neighborhood has a cousin that makes these cute crafts and everyone goes crazy over them including me. (: I can't help but buy one since the price is pretty reasonable. She usually has a bunch of different ones for each holiday. The lady actually draws up her idea on paper and then her husband cuts out the wood and she decorates them. My Christmas and Winter ones should be here soon so I will post some pictures of them. There was about five to choose from but I just ordered an adorable elf as well as a cute snowman.

Cute STuff!! I have been crafting a lot lately too. Since Im not working I have been trying to find stuff to do to help keep me busy and help the time pass faster until the baby comes. I made one of those frame things for bows too. I love the idea!
