Halloween Weekend-Bday party/Concert/My Liquid Diet

We were invited to a birthday party that had a 70's theme to it and we had so much fun. They had food, disco music, homemade rootbeer and prizes for the best dressed and best dancers.

These are the guys Logan worked with at the hospital in the Health Administration office for his internship- Brad (in the blue suit) and Shawn (birthday boy)

On Thursday my cousin Heather invited me to go to a concert here in town. It was for Missy Higgins. I actually had never heard of her before, but I absolutely loved her. She was AMAZING.

We lucked out and got a great spot right up in the front row

On Friday I got my wisdom teeth out which made it a Halloween to remember

I did my internship at this dentists office, so it was good to see everyone again and they were all so sweet. The surgery went well. I had my laughing gas, massage chair, blanket, and headphones to watch T.V.

The receptionists

I had all four wisdom teeth pulled. My bottom two were impacted and recovery wasn't the greatest. I went home to take a nap, woke up and I guess I had swallowed a bunch of blood, so I couldn't keep much down. It was horrible to say the least. But I did have an amazing husband that was there through the whole time taking such good care of me. He helped me put new gaws in every half hour, got me food, drinks, movies, ice packs, my meds at 4 in the morning, throw up bowl, spitting bowl, salt water cup and the list could go on and on. To sum it all up I am so grateful for all he does for me. I love you babe.

For the first few days I was pretty much on a liquid diet, once Sunday rolled around though I was able to eat a little bit more. So it was nice when my mom came to visit that I was actually able to eat some of her yummy food she brought.

Can't beat your mom's home cookin when your sick

You had your wisdom teeth out? That doesn't look like fun. I still have two on bottom that I need to get out. I just keep putting it off. Your family pictures turned out great. Your mom did a good job. By the way...We are coming to Poci tomorrow to meet up with some of my family for dinner. If we get done early enough we were going to try to give you guys a call. So maybe we will talk to you tomorrow.

Lisa,
I hope you are feeling better. All four at once would be rough! It is good you knew everyone at the office, and that they kept you comfortable during the surgery. Way to go Logan, on taking excellent care of your wife! Take care you two! Hope to see you soon.
