Trip to Mexico

Logan and I had the opportunity to go to an all-inclusive resort called Catalonia Riviera Maya that was 40 miles South of Cancun. We absolutely loved it and hope we can go back again someday.

I had to get a picture with a monkey. For some reason I have always wanted to hold one and I was so excited that there was a company going around at the resort asking if anyone wanted to get their picture. Everyday was a different animal, but the monkey was by far the most popular. She was called a squirrel monkey.

We couldn't get enough of the yummy virgin daiquires. We would either get a miami vice or bahama mama.

We met so many nice people at the resort. One of the couples was from England. I loved their accent. When something tasted really good they would say that is so "Scrummy!"

Anytime you wanted to you could go eat at the buffet or at the snack bar, but there was also 4 restaurants that you could go to by just making reservations at the beginning of your trip that were all included in the resort. There was the Mexican, Italian, Steakhouse and Chinese restaurants that were all really nice. There was also a place you could go get dessert whenever you wanted called the La Creperie.

Our chef called himself Jackie Chan! He was doing all sorts of tricks. The food was awesome!

We just had to laugh at his outfit. He basically had a speedo on with a poncho over the top with cowboy boots on. He also acted like he had one too many drinks- all part of his act of course.

I don't know if this was legal, but Logan had to have a coconut.

Logan with his coconut he brought back to our room. He worked pretty hard getting it open. I don't think that it was ready to be opened because it didn't taste very good. Logan seemed to like it though.
